We recommend if you are going to repurpose content, to first start by researching a popular and trending topic that is relevant to your industry. Introducing our first method,

Pinterest.

Pinterest is a great option for searching or researching what clients are looking for so that you can create a blog topic to answer the questions they are seeking. If you go to Pinterest.com and type into their search bar “how to do x, y, z” Pinterest will populate the top five results that have been searched for on their search engine. This is a great way to brainstorm a topic for your first content creation. After coming up with a topic, we recommend using our second method, blog posting.

Blogging

This way you can get all of your thoughts, ideas and resources in one location that belongs to you on your website. We are then going to sub create the content based on this.

Instagram (Stories + Reels)

When your blog post is complete, the first place we will want to go is an Instagram post. Instagram is our third method which has several amazing ways to share your content. You can repurpose any blog post 2-3 different ways using Instagram. One, you can share a photo recapping your blog post as part of your grid. Two, you can share a reel showcasing your new blog post. And three, you can highlight the most important part of your blog post in an Instagram reel.

Pinterest Pins

Taking things one step further, you can then take the Instagram reel that you made and repurpose that into a Pinterest Pin. This is super easy to do. All you need to add to this is a Pinterest cover. This is due to Pinterest preferring their size covers. *Side note: you can go on Pinterest and click on create pin and see what those parameters are. We use Canva to create a Pinterest Pin Cover and repurpose our Instagram reel right onto Pinterest linking back to Instagram and creating more social proof.

TikTok

After you have created a Pinterest Pin, you can go ahead and repurpose your reel onto TikTok or create a new one still covering the same topic that you blogged about. TikTok is our fourth time saving method. Whether you want to start from scratch or repurpose the Instagram reel will depend on if you made it inside of Instagram or if you used a third party app to make it. We highly recommend using third party apps, this way you can repurpose your content into any size for any platform. Our favorite is Canva.

Email Marketing

And lastly, our fifth method to save you hours of content creation, email! If you would love to download our freebee to be able to visually create your first repurposed content, click here and we will send it right to your inbox!
